Samplitude does not have a built-in macro system like for instance Cubase. However, you can build much more powerful macros in Samplitude using an external tool, like Autohotkey.

There is also a user-maintained package of useful drop-in macro routines and workflow customizations. The package is maintained and developed by Daniel L.
