Loop Recording

Like most (useful) DAWs, Samplitude can do loop recording.

Since Version 9 there's a feature called "AutoJam Session", which provides simplified "Gibson Echoplex" functions. It's controllable by a joystick, MIDI messages or computer keyboard.

In V8, to make loop recording work like in most other hosts, activate punch in/out recording around the looped range and activate MIDI Overdub recording.

In version 9, simply selecting a range and looping it while recording will automatically punch in/out around the range.
